NTLP provides support to jobseekers setting up a local service business.
Who are we ?
The scheme is designed to support people starting businesses who are:
- Eligible for Back to Work Enterprise Allowance (BTWEA) www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Who-can-qualify-for-BTWEA.aspx
- Setting up a business in local services, not qualifying for mainstream supports and based in North Tipperary.
- Pre-Startup Support
- One to One Support
- Technical Support
- Use of Hot Desk space
- Participation in Startup Network – this assists people through information sharing, guest speakers and training.
We can link you up with a business advisor to help you tease out your idea and prepare your business plan, a requirement to apply for the Department of Social Protection’s Back to Work Enterprise Allowance.
Further support/group training is referred to Tipperary Local Enterprise Office should it be required.
An extra dimension to NTLP’s Enterprise Support Action is support to social/community-run enterprises in the area. Supports here can include training for social enterprise groups as well as one to one mentoring.
